Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the first important trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
